I’m Kate Teves (pronounced TAY-viss). I am building a company that values silliness and creativity. In this era of digitization and AI, I still believe humans are at their best when they are laughing, tinkering, and imagining.
A Little About Me:
I spent my youth wandering around a farm in Central New York with nothing but daydreams, cows, and the chatter of trees. It was as close to a perfect childhood as it gets.
In my twenties, I spent years working with children in the developing world—children whose lives were shattered by a million different kinds of global greed. These experiences changed me in ways I rarely have the strength to discuss. But all of it left me with a compulsion to bring joy to children (and increasingly to adults).
I live in South Florida with my husband Christoph. In addition to this site, I also sell my original art at www.tevesdesigns.com.
